The Case Processing Centre in Edmonton (CPC-E) will continue to process when all required documents are available. Missing documents should be requested as per the instructions above, which will impact processing time.
Examples of missing documents include, but are not limited to
• upfront medical results
• police certificates
• guaranteed investment certificates
• proof of full payment of tuition for the applicant’s first year of study
• language test results
• educational transcripts
• valid travel document (such as a passport)

Francisation et de !’Integration (MIFI), if applicable
If an applicant has submitted an incomplete SOS application, the application should be added to the regular study permit application processing queue by CPC-E. Once the documents are received, the application will not return to the SOS queue, but rather be processed normally as a regular study permit application.
Note: Clients are advised to submit a study permit application under the SOS only if they can satisfy all eligibility requirements upon submission of their application. Those who are unable to provide the required documents for the SOS upon submitting their application may be advised to submit a study permit application under the regular process or to apply under the SOS once services resume and they are able to submit the required documents.
